Aisling Bea
Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian, who's been performing for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. Bea has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comedian. After playing bits in a variety of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea began her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began appearing on a variety of sketches and sitcoms. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured frequently in panel programs. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as the team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant in the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. In 2012 she was the only woman to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, pays tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who died when Bea was three years old. She wasn't told about how he died until she turned thirteen. As a way to honor her father, she chose the stage-name Bea and in 2017 wrote an article about suicides and deaths that affected her family for The Guardian. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, a educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. Bea began her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the racing industry wasn't for her.
