Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills in ABC's Lost television series. Originating from Worthington Ohio she quit high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite finances, she was able to secure her first big role in the online video show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's principal character. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder set in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was the main character for the initial two seasons, and was awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace was forced to quit the show to pursue a film career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog in 2005. She was on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 as well as Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson.
